The Bennetts on the farm

I’ve been photographing Erin, Dave and their family for more than five years. And the addition of Ella makes it even more fun. Erin writes about food on her blog Blue Egg Kitchen so we had to include some blue eggs during our shoot at the San Francisco Zoo.

Natasha & Daniel

My great friends and colleagues, Natasha of Waterlily Pond floral design studio and Daniel of DAS Design, pulled together their Bolinas wedding in a matter of weeks but they put on an event that felt like it took a year to plan. The talented duo thought of every detail in creating a really beautiful and fun wedding.

They surprised the guests with a flamenco performance

Kati & Anil

I love how vibrant and colorful Indian weddings are. Kati and Anil had the added bonus of their eight-month-old baby as a beautiful part of the day. Everything took place at the Hotel Kabuki in Japantown with the always fabulous floral and event design by Waterlily Pond.

Ari & Aviv

I took a little break from blogging to have a baby. More on that soon! In the meantime here’s the Shakked family. I do photos for their holiday card every year and it has been a joy to see these two little guys grow. Love those curls!

Molly & Greg’s wedding at Annapolis Winery

On Molly & Greg’s day the weather was perfect, the warmest wedding I’ve had so far this year. They were married at the lovely Annapolis Winery, which is close to Sea Ranch, about three hours north of San Francisco. Guests descended on this small town from all over the country and everyone had a great time. I’m so glad I could be there to capture the day for them!

A year-plus in the life of Cecilia

My web designer and good friend Sarah of Zumo Arts has a well-documented year-in-the-life of her first child, Cecilia.

Cecilia in utero

Very alert on her first day of life

More serious on day nine

The hair kept growing and was very styleable at three months

So much personality at the half year mark

Getting cuter every day at her first birthday

Virginia & Jorge at The Flood Mansion

There’s so much I could say about this fabulous wedding. The ceremony was classic elegance, but then as the newly married couple exited the aisle a bevy of Colombian and Puerto Rican dancers followed them out. The whole tone of the wedding changed, transitioning the ceremony into a spectacular dinner and party. The outrageously colorful floral and event design by Waterlily Pond created a uniquely festive environment. The dancers reappeared at the end of dinner and led the guests in a full night of dancing and singing. But enough of my words — let’s see some pictures!

Venue: Flood Mansion
Event and Floral design: Waterlily Pond
Catering: McCalls
Lighting: Enhanced Lighting and Sound
Stationary: Olive-Route

Evelyn & Tony’s wedding at Arista Winery in Healdsburg, Ca

Evelyn & Tony were married at a small church in Santa Rosa with their English bulldog Buttercup as the flower girl. The reception was held later in the day at Arista, a great location for a wedding. It was a very sweet, emotional day all around. Congrats you two!
