This is my fourth year photographing the Shakked family. I’m so lucky to document their lives every year, getting to see first hand how much the kids are growing (their youngest was only one when we started)! Amazingly, parents Orr and Sharon haven’t aged a bit! Even more of a bonus for me — their photo sessions are always such a great time. Thank you Shakked Fam!

The Schachter family

These are exciting and expanding times for the Schachter family.

First we’ll start with Dana and Jordan. I photographed their wedding back in 2006 at Trentadue winery in Geyserville, Ca. These two are special clients because they both operate their own small businesses so we have a lot in common. Jordan is a personal chef who teaches very popular cooking classes and Dana teaches yoga and is a massage therapist. I took her prenatal yoga class last year and it was fantastic.

A few weeks ago I received a call from Jordan’s mom that his two sisters and their families were headed to San Francisco for Mother’s Day and it would be great to set up a photo shoot for everyone. Perfect timing since Dana and Jordan became parents only 6 weeks ago to lovely Sati Rose, Jordan’s sister has a 7-month old, and Jordan’s other sister is now engaged! A big thanks to Jordan’s mom for this special gift.

Jordan’s sister Lindsey and her husband Aaron have 7-month-old Dylan. A cutie patootie with cool hipster hair.

And Jordan’s other sister Jenna will be marring Danny this fall.

I’ve been photographing Erin, Dave and their family for more than five years. And the addition of Ella makes it even more fun. Erin writes about food on her blog Blue Egg Kitchen so we had to include some blue eggs during our shoot at the San Francisco Zoo.
