Nicole and Michael’s holiday wedding
Nothing like a warm, sunny California day in December for a wedding! These two were married at St. Hilary’s in Tiburon followed by quite a party at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Vally, one of my favorite spots. Nicole and Michael are super sweet and deserve every happiness. The bridal party was great and amenable to all our stunts. Bottom line, a bride who hula hoops in her wedding dress = awesome.
Vendors:
Planning: Kathryn Kalabokes, Dream a Little Dream Events
Food: All Seasons Catering
DJ: Jason Mitchell
Deserts: Batter Bakery
And a big thank you to Liz Caruana for second shooting!

Barrett
Dear Barrett,
You are so cute and sweet with the longest eyelashes I’ve ever seen. Thank you for playing with me in Golden Gate Park. Don’t grow too fast. We moms like you to stay small for a while.

Jessica and Steve’s big day in Fairfax
Jessica and Steve had a rocking wedding. The day started at Jessica’s childhood home in Fairfax, then on to the ceremony at St. Anselm Church, followed by the party at Meadow Club. The dance floor was the place to be: Shortly after the ceremony, Jessica slipped into some comfy Chuck Taylor’s and hardly left the dance floor for the rest of the night! The guests, too, danced the night away. What a great party!

Big thank you to the awesome Liz Caruana for great 2nd shooting!

Carrice and Mark married at the DeYoung Museum
It was nice to see a lot of familiar faces at Carrice and Mark’s wedding. I photographed her sister Stacey’s wedding in St. Louis two years ago. Carrice chose to get married in San Francisco, at the DeYoung which is practically in my backyard, and lots of folks came out from St. Louis and elsewhere. Carrice was the picture of calm all day and Mark was hilarious. They mesh really well together. Everyone rocked out to DJ Dave Tutton. Thanks to Grace Street Catering for the great food and flowers, Got-light for the nice lighting and drapery, and Ed Ritger for second shooting. It was a wonderful day!

Growing fast
This is my fourth year photographing the Shakked family. I’m so lucky to document their lives every year, getting to see first hand how much the kids are growing (their youngest was only one when we started)! Amazingly, parents Orr and Sharon haven’t aged a bit! Even more of a bonus for me — their photo sessions are always such a great time. Thank you Shakked Fam!

Lauren and Josh married at Ramekins in Sonoma
Lauren and Josh are two very sweet people. And I’m not alone in knowing this. Family and friends traveled far and wide to support them in a big way on their Big Day. They aren’t from the Bay Area, and they’re currently in the process of moving to Connecticut, but they had established a great network of wedding professionals through their church, including Wendy Harrop who organized the day at Ramekins flawlessly. I was honored to be the only vendor they didn’t already know. Congratulations Lauren and Josh! Best wishes on your new life back east!

Jessica and Steve warm up the Bay Area
August is foggy and cool in the Bay Area, especially along the coast. Jessica and Steve live in San Deigo so I was worried the chilly temps would not be so fun for them. Luckily they both grew up in Northern California so they were prepared with warm clothes and were total troopers. I’m sure they were pretty happy to get back to the sunny, warm beaches in Southern California.
